keepsake in reverse — a small present given to you by someone so that you will remember that person.

I am very glad to work at a company where many coworkers have become friends. At some point a tradition emerged: instead of just collecting money for a farewell gift, we create something personal that reminds the person of the good, sad and defining moments of their time at the company. After organizing a lot of these farewell gifts, I was still dissatisfied with the tools available for creating them.

Survey tools like Google or Microsoft Forms lost entries, didn't allow image uploads and made exporting tedious. Designing pages in PowerPoint, exporting them one by one and uploading them page by page to some online print-on-demand platform was frustrating and time-consuming.

sakekeep covers the whole chain: creating a survey, collecting people's contributions, designing page layouts and exporting everything print-ready.
